We pulled into Keokuk, Iowa this evening, at 5:00 pm. We settled in at the Fairfield Inn then crossed the river and drove up to Nauvoo. Warm and muggy, but not too hot today. We drove through the town, walking around the temple taking a few pictures. We saw the senior missionaries waiting at the sites of the two evening shows. Why do they all seem so old? I know we'll love working with them all. We came back here, had a bite to eat, and are ready to meet with the mission President in the morning at 10:00 AM. I guess we're really doing this! This morning, before we headed across Iowa, we visited Winter Quarters, walked around the cemetery, the temple, and spent an hour at the visitor's center. So fun to listen to the missionaries after having the training we had last week. What a great place... We'll report on our housing, assignments, etc. soon! Love you all MOM and DAD
